The only thing in all of the universe that you can invest your money in that will NEVER fade away is the Kingdom of God. Jesus said in:
Matthew 6:19-21
19“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;
20but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.
21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Every cent you invest into the kingdom of God counts. The Bible shows that tithe is an expression of worship toward God. According to Malachi 3:10, tithing is giving 10% of your income to your church (the “storehouse”).
Any financial gift that is over and above the tithe is an offering.
