Executive Pastor

Responsibilities:

Pastor Bauer manages Loveland’s business office and serves on the ministry team for Loveland High Desert (Victorville)

Background:

Billy met the Lord as a High School Student through Young Life. While in college he served on Young Life’s Urban Ministry Staff in Tacoma Washington. After serving in the U.S. Navy he joined Loveland’s vocational staff in 1989. Over the years he served in almost every area of ministry from Janitor to Pastor of Christian Education before assuming his current role as Executive Pastor.

Favorite Hobby:

Boredom is never a problem. Billy enjoys countless activities. He loves gadgets. He will read anything from the back of a shampoo bottle to the latest treatise on geo-political strategies and everything in between. One day you might see him with his feet up flipping through a comic book and the next day sitting with his head buried in a legal brief or lexicons and commentaries. He loves to play golf (but doesn’t get out much), motorcycles, home improvement projects and traveling wherever his wife tells him they are going next.

Favorite food:

If it isn’t healthy… but tastes really good, that is probably his favorite food…  just pray for him.
