Youth and Young Adults Pastor

I am responsible for the Youth and Young Adult ministries here at Loveland. I also oversee the Children’s ministry, worship service ministries, music ministry, bulletin and other promotional work.

I grew up in the church. God called me at the young early age of 8. I recognized that living every moment for him is all that matters in life. I became active in youth ministry in high school, got licensed in 2001, and started working at Loveland in 2005. In 2006 I became the Youth and Young Adult Pastor then I joined Loveland’s Executive Leadership team in 2008 and continue in that role today. In 2012 God brought me to California Baptist University to complete my bachelor’s degree. I’m studying Applied Theology and Philosophy there.
I love to serve God by caring for, teaching and serving his people. I have a great passion for the church and our mission to reconcile the world to God (2 Cor. 5:18-20). My goal is to teach those who God has trusted me to shepherd to live 3 key objectives of a Christian life… Love God, build his church (the body of Christ) and reconcile the lost to him.

Favorite Scripture:

My favorite Scripture changes from time to time but right now I’m enjoying 2 Corinthians 5:18-20. Also Ephesians 5:25-33, Matthew 22:37-40 and Matthew 28:18-20.

Favorite Hobby:

I enjoy reading and talking about life, the Bible and theology. I also enjoy the movies, music, the gym, and several TV shows… Too many to name.

Favorite food:

Favorite food hands down is Mexican especially enchiladas, guacamole and salad.
